Well it’s MAAC time Niagara might gives us a pretty good feel as to where we stack up

Purple Eagles are 1 - 7 but have some close losses to some respectable teams.
Angel Parker has obviously had some issues, injury I assume, as she has missed two games, not started two others, only averaging 21 minutes per game and shooting 32%. But she scored 17 points in the fourth quarter as their comeback against Buffalo fell short, and has had ten days since that game.

This is a game for Donnelly and Zaria. Our advantage and opportunity looks to be in the front court. Would be a good time for Donnelly to put up a Green Bay/Lafayette-like game performance. She has been in a significant downward trend the last 3 games logging 37 minutes but progressively losing minutes. Her offense has been nonexistent with two points scored over that 3 game stretch. No time like the present to break out of the funk. Zaria simply needs to show up early. Marist’s guards will have their hands full with the Parkers and Yelle. They are going to need the help at both ends from the front court rotation. Niagara gives up 70 points per game and only scores 3 more than Marist. Those stats aren’t indicative of a team that is going to finish 3rd in the MAAC. Both teams coming off long layoffs. Maybe the team that knocks off the rust first takes this one. We’ll see.

I agree, Donnelly has to step Big Time. Will be the key to a win. But she has to get enough playing time.

Hurricane Havoc is basically Masiello hockey on hardwood IIRC. Exhausting, especially with another game in 48 hours.
I predict a 43-39 approximate rock fight either way.

These are teenagers and 20 somethings. I hope they can recover in 48 hours. LOL
Yea. The Niagara Hurricane and the old Siena Blizzard. Do any of these uniquely frenetic defenses ever work over the long run?

I guess ESPN wants to keep the score a secret during the broadcast.

Marist has doubled them up 8-4 in points off of turnovers.

5-0 run by Niagara started by Yelle lowering her shoulder into Shazer to make space and getting an and1 when Shazer breathes on her as Yelle goes up for the shot. LOL

Maybe I was wrong about the rock fight.
Someone is always open against the swarm if you keep your composure and your head up.
