Both soccer teams beat Canisius today, volleyball about to start against Quinnipiac.
EDIT: beat the Q in 4. Nice day for the Foxes all around.

Q picked ahead of us in volleyball, then again Niagara and Canisius picked below (but the Buffalo trip results are always hard to judge)
Edit - Canisius was picked ahead of us, so not as bad losses as I thought

Jordan Newblatt sets Marist single match record with 31 kills in a win over Canisius tonight; the old record of 28 had been done twice, each time in 5 sets - she only needed 4 tonight.
Niagara tomorrow so no rest for that arm!

VB wins again. Jordan Newblatt sets the program record for kills in a game, a record she set Saturday.
Don’t see anyone beating Fairfield so as long as our season ends with a loss to them, i take it as a positive

31 yesterday, 34 today. Absolutely bonkers.
The setter McKinley Fox got hurt halfway through but backup Anne Mahler really settled in and got the team through to a W.

I don’t know the full details, but coach has been there a while. He left to go a little higher (Buffalo) but that failed so he came back. I know this year they have a transfer from Baylor and they have not lost a set in Maac play this year

Not very surprising but Newblatt wins POW for volleyball. Owens also adds another LOW to her resume this year

Women's soccer hands perennial title contender Monmouth its first MAAC loss. I'd have to look it up but that has to be their first win over the Hawks in a long time.
Top four and a home playoff game is on the table now.

Men's soccer also beats Monmouth and is now tied for first in the MAAC with the Hawks, with head to head tiebreaker. 3 matches left in the regular season.

WSOC - dropped the regular season finale 3-1 at Niagara today, will be the #7 seed and play at #2 seed Quinnipiac on Sunday. Picked 8th, so slightly better than expected. Baby steps.
MSOC - converted a PK in 2OT to beat Niagara today, with Monmouth suddenly stepping on every rake like so many Sideshows Bob, the Red Foxes can rest up on their bye this Saturday and still clinch the #1 seed with a win next Wednesday in their last match at Fairfield. They would then get to play all 3 tourney matches (should they keep advancing) at Tenney Stadium.

MAAC cross country championships - women finished 5th, men 6th. Not their best year I guess. Iona won both like they always do.
men's soccer got to sit back on its MAAC bye and clinch at least a share of the regular season championship due to results around the league. Now just a draw at Fairfield on Wednesday will sew up the outright title and hosting rights throughout the MAAC tournament.
volleyball got badly outhit, outscored in total points by a good margin - but still beat Rider in five sets at McCann. That's base- err, volleyball, Susan.
