im more worried when reading the article about "The NCAA Division I Council is expected to announce a decision on the format for winter sports, including men's and women's basketball, on Sept. 16."

a nice gesture by the ACC coaches, but zero point zero chance the NCAA goes along with that idea. Step 1 everyone gets in. Step 2 eliminate conference tournaments. Step 3 eliminate automatic bids. Step 4 power 5 conference get 99% of the games in the round of 64.. Mission accomplished.

I like the earned automatic bids ,.i understand the need for a shortened year because of Covid ..But i would bet NCAA is going to consider no conference tourneys .but not an all in Ncaa tourney . i would like if they went to a 96 team ncaa tourney like they have before so they can get some of the teams that fell through the cracks ,but that won't happen this year..
