started today. The Iona Board the Mockford, the British kid, who played at Apex in Jersey signed today.
We know there has been at least one recruit on the Marist Campus last week. Could have been a HS Sr, maybe not, we don't really know. Anyway, does Marist need to fill a slot this spring, even if it means taking a chance on a kid, or should they roll those two 'ships into the class of 2010?
What do people think? My preference would be to use them next fall.

I am usually against JUCO's but... If Chuck could find a solid low post defender then do it. Spongy changed my mind a bit. We are so thin up front. It would have to be the right player though.

I agree with ctfox, I say we only use 1 scholly now and save 1 for next years class. We seem fine at guard and I think we don't need to waste one now on a PG because with Kaba ( and Hall backing him up) they should be capable enough to run point for now. We need to use a scholarship right now on a big man that can step up 1st semester and team up well with Casiem 2nd semester. I say we go the JUCO route; unless for some reason Chuck thinks Bauer or Vouyoukas will step up big this season, then we can save both for next fall.
