That Turley actually brought facts into the discussion helps even more. As for myself I think they should change it to “The Jamions”.

Back to the thread topic, Marist is in contention for the six main Spring sports (W Lacrosse being iffy). Monmouth has two very strong probables (M Tennis and Softball), with Marist right there on both. Other than Marist beating Monmouth at either of these, what are the other scenarios that get Marist the Cup?

Monmouth is also going to waltz to the men's and women's outdoor track and field championships I would imagine. Hopefully they have a bad weekend on the golf course at Disney World April 18-20. Never know who's going to win the men's golf tournament. Quinny or affiliate member Albany, one of the two, will roll in women's golf. I wish Marist had golf teams. A women's rowing championship would be helpful, but it's really going to come down to out-scoring Monmouth head to head in what's left, and hoping other Hawks teams either fail to qualify for the MAAC tournaments or at least get knocked off early before accruing too many tournament bonus points....all while Marist goes deep and takes some trophies.

Marist is the only MAAC baseball team in the RPI Top 100, clocking in at #95 today despite a 13-16 overall record. They have the 7th highest RPI in the nation for a team under .500 and 5th among such teams outside the Power Five.

I have seen better at Little league games. Players deserve better.

Should be a priority after McCann and Dyson are finished. Same for softball field.

Manhattan upset win over Canisius this evening clinches Marist at least a share of the MAAC men's lacrosse regular season championship. Beat the Griffs next Friday on ESPNU and they get all of it to themselves.

Big wins for Softball (over Monmouth) and Men's Lacrosse is starting to roll. League championships for both teams puts CC within reach. Go Foxes.

Iona moved into first place overall yesterday, taking a 0.25 point lead over both Marist and Monmouth. Should be a very close finish. The Gaels will likely claim the men's golf championship today and all but secure the men's cup. Marist needs to turn it back on in baseball, they've slipped to .500 in the league.
