Columbia favored by 23.5.
Rodney Dangerfield doesn’t have anything on us.

Marist 24 Columbia 34
Final
Sounds like it was respectable but the usual demons surfaced. Still time for change.

CU has the ball for 42.5 mins! Hard to win like that. If it wasn’t for Christian it would have been quite a beat down

If not. would Parady plus an adequate budget equal a competitive program? I'm not Parady fan, but it's simplyt based on W's and L's. I really don't know if the staff is handcuffed financially, or not.

Coach P has done a solid job getting some good value out of his players. He has been with Marist for 28 years. The program has been treading water for a while now. His positives cant be dismissed but change may be on the horizon.

I really don't know if the staff is handcuffed financially, or not. Program could always use more money, but how are you spending; and on whom? While somewhat old numbers, here's how Marist stacks up. Again, coaching staff are good people, but results shouldn't be acceptable. As a general historical note, this is how it's been under Coach P; very slow start to the season with tons of mistakes (beat ourselves) then by the 3rd or 4th game the team plays to its true potential (Dayton); maybe a winning streak; demons resurface we loss a heartbreaker and end the season slightly above; at or slightly below .500. I've just described the last 12 years with one exception being the year we were "co-champs". FYI - From the U.S. Dept. of Education - EADA 2016 Data Butler University $847,654 Davidson College $1,849,299 Drake University $1,028,182 Jacksonville University $1,303,640 Marist College $1,281,000 Morehead State University $1,031,156 Stetson University $1,838,277 University of Dayton $1,232,195 University of San Diego $1,328,169 The Davidson numbers don't make sense but those are the numbers.
