Marist has football for one reason and one reason alone ... it’s not about winning, they don’t give a shit if they win. It is 100% about getting male applicants for admission... that is it

I've always thought they celebrated minimal accomplishments with this program. What's the point of a program if the best you can ever do is mediocrity? They never beat anybody that is better than them. It's a low bar. Then the announcers talk to the coach like he's legendary. Nice guy. Hasn't really produced much. Butler beat Youngstown State this weekend. Youngstown has won FCS National Championships. USD has beaten its first round opponents in the last two FCS playoffs. The Marist FB staff are great people but they need to go.

I agree they need better coaching. Talent appears to be there for the most part, but come game day it is a complete S show of mistakes and poor preparation. Yes, the budget should be higher, but no hiding the fact this staff does not get the most out of the players. Yes, I know they recruit and run the program the right way and there is something to be said for that.

New admin bought out Maker, something that would not have happened under the old regime; Hope springs eternal!

A 2-9 year will be very hard to defend. I think TM knows he needs to make a move if there is a 2-9 year.

The field goal kicker which is currently the Jets kicker in the NFL could not do well kicking at Marist. Is that specials teams coach still at Marist? That is a horrific indicment of coaching. He cam kick in NFL, but kicked like 55 percent here
