I prefer medium-rare, will accept medium, but past that you might as well be eating your shoes.

I hate that stuff. Stop trying to make it like “The Decision” you’re not LeBron. I've heard of a player narrowing and announcing his choices down to 2 or 3 teams ...but 7 ??

Being reported on maac board that Cavanaugh is transferring. Opens another scholarship. Wish him well. Cavanaugh transferring to D2 Southern New Hampshire. Looking at their roster they have 5 PGs and no SGs. Wish him well as he should be great for them at the 2

I have been very quiet on this board over the last few months, and I will preface this with that I am not a big fan of Dunne. I find to him to be a painfully average head coach, and this notion is backed up from years of watching him coach as well as based on his track record at St. Peter's of a .405 career win percentage in 12 seasons there (.411 in MAAC play) and only 2 winning seasons out of those 12 total seasons. Crazy. And now 12 wins and 7 wins respectively in his two years at Marist so far. I don't think he is all to blame because obviously we haven't been successful with anyone over the past 11 seasons which is clearly an Athletic Director/Administration issue but I will save that rant for another day. I just can't sit here and be confident or excited at all about these fringe players who should not be playing Division 1 basketball. I am all for finding "diamonds in the rough" but Dunne has proved that he in many cases brings an underwhelming amount of talent in on players who are not equipped for this level. See below for some examples Darius Hines- No other D1 offers. Kicked off team Luke Nedrow- No other D1 offers. Now playing Division 2 (Shippenburg) Jack Cavanaugh- 2 D1 offers below MAAC level. Now playing Division 2 (Southern New Hampshire) Matt Herasme- No other D1 offers (besides Dunne at St. Peter’s/Marist). Nice surprise, but he should not be starting for a good MAAC team. A good energy/glue guy off bench who can do a little of everything and bring toughness but not talented enough to start at this level. I coached against him in high school for 4 years and I have appreciated his growth as a player but still the fact remains. We need impact players if we are going to have any chance of turning this ship around and jumping to the top 4 of the league. We can't keep taking shots on multiple fringe players or potential projects, that has to be limited to one scholarship per class. It can't be the whole class. Now go out and fill our remaining 3 scholarships with Raheim Sullivan, Khalil Johnson, and a big man whether that be BJ Mack/Darnell Brodie/a grad transfer or a high schooler to learn under Jones and Enoh. Go make a statement and get some players ready to make an impact now, and then I will get excited and my hopes slightly up...I hope I'm proven wrong, and even in this unprecedented time for the world and the world of basketball recruiting that we can make some noise. I apologize for the long winded note, but just where my head is at.

Parker ,,Funk Dozic were pleasant surprises ..Maker had plenty of misses too..guys that struggle to even be in d2..but yeh ,,when u think about ..wheres the big d 1 hit so far for Dunne ..but we'll give the freshman a year ,,there are some good flashes from st.furcy and sagl ..herasme should be a solid 20 to 30 minute guy .we need 2 more guys ,,got one in byrd ,lets get another..if its a fringe guy ..save the scholarship .Bell can really be something .hoping Makeny can show something also .

The only thing I really disagree with you foxred is about Herasme. He has shown me he is a starter in this league. He has just been forced to play so many minutes I think it hurts him. But I like both his offense and defense

Freshman year, I didn't think Herasme should be D1. However, he proved me wrong this year. I want him on the court now since he's scoring now.

I think if they get Sullivan, the team would be in decent shape. The backcourt would be very good. Come on. Get lucky for once..
