There a few threads on Fairfield , Holy Cross, and La Salle’s Message boards talking about La Salle’s financial difficulties and a possible move out of A10 to Patriot or back to MAAC.

Would love to see the Explorers return to the MAAC.
With 12 teams you could consider going with two geographically organized divisions of six teams like the NFL used to be, and 18 league games total each year Save some bucks on travel and preserve some natural rivalries like Niagara/Canisius, Iona/Manhattan, Jersey/Philly, FF/Qpac, etc. and give each "division winner" a 1st round bye in the tournament with each division playing on one side of the brackets. Last 2 standing from each bracket play for the championship.

How much $$$ does that save? Why would PL take them? Perfect fit for the MAAC. 80% of the MAAC schools are basically financially destitute anyway.
