The situation has escalated from accusations of verbal abuse of a disabled student manager by Patsos on to allegations of forged per diem voucher redirecting payments due to student athletes and student staff to coaches for entertainment purposes. Starting to look like Siena might need to be more concerned about which law firm is going to represent them in their appeal to the NCAA. Expect more of this stuff to come out from both sides as they try to force Patsos out to save the buyout. Can anyone say lack of institutional control?

I have been following this mess too. I dislike seeing stories like this hit the D1 level. Let's hope the investigation is able to shake out what has gone wrong, so Siena can do whatever it takes to put integrity back in their program.

A10 or bust? Looking more like bust BustED is more like it. Wouldn't be surprised if some first class correspondence with an Indianapolis postmark shows up in Loudenville sometime in the near future.

Siena leak update. How bad do they want to off Jimmy Patsos. Latest drip, drip, drip, says he shoved a player (Kadeem Smithen, I believe) out of his seat during a film session after the Marist loss in December. That's the kind of stress a loss to Marist can cause I guess. Siena flailing around, Patsos Lawyered up and dug in. Fanbase waiting on Bee-line Jr.

run 7 tenths of a mile? That is less than we have to run/walk to get to McCann for a Marist game with the parking situation. Bunch of crap:)

What amazes me is how helpless LeMoyne is - i have heard that Beilein has done NOTHING for the program since last game. They have four kids on roster and zero recruits coming in (yes I get that D2 is big on transfers) how long can Lemoyne just sit and wait? This Patsos thing is gonna drag out for a while longer and will eventually leave LeMoyne scrambling.
This was my #1 reason why I didn't want Beilein and why I hope Siena gets him - Patrick is about Patrick, he is not interested in building a program he is interested in building a resume!!! (Just My Opinion )

Word on the Siena Board it that Beeline was in the Albany region of a recruiting visit in the last couple of days. If true, at least he's going through the motions.
The karma associated with his behavior here has the potential for being very interesting from a Marist and St. Peter's perspective. It looks like St. Peter's made a potentially excellent hire and Marist is in the best shape in years leadership-wise moving forward. Beeline might end up back at LeMoyne dealing with the mess he thought he was leaving for the next guy, or at a Siena program trying to wash the stench off of itself.

Patsos resigned and took a payout. Siena claims it couldn't make a case for a firing for "cause" with what they had. Maybe both sides just got tired of paying legal fees. The investigation is still ongoing and the school couldn't rule out that what they will find will not rise to the level of an NCAA violation.
Despite the presumed certainty surrounding Beeline as the next Siena Coach some on their board would like to see a search. The Siena is a plum job when all things are right with the program,. They should be able to do better than relying on pedigree and an unproven recruiting ability.

Siena doesn't do 3,4, or 5 year plans ,so whoever gets in there maybe has a year to show results and that means at least .500 or above .No patience whatsoever for losing records or teams .So Beilein good luck .,but i think they could do better but better for us if they do hire him .
