With only baseball left the standings for the MAAC Commissioner's Cup are as follows:
2016-2017 Commissioner's Cup Standings (Overall) As of 05/22/2017
1. Monmouth 153.25 2. Rider 126.25 3. Marist 125.25 4. Quinnipiac 121.50 5. Iona 114.00 6. Siena 113.25 7. Fairfield 103.75 8. Canisius 102.50 9. Manhattan 77.00 10. Niagara 56.75 11. Saint Peter's 44.00
My guess is that Marist overtakes Rider for the overall #2 slot due to baseball.
Same 1/2 finish for the last three years . . .
Thoughts? How do we retake the cup?

Monmouth looks to win its' 4th CC in a row. With the remaining sports left, Women's Rowing (Marist favorite after Jax), Softball (Monmouth favorite) and Men's Baseball (Q-Pac favorite), it looks like a 3rd place finish is in store for the Foxes. I've been critical of TM for the state of the MBB (and deservedly so) but he should get some kudos for another year of being near the top.
Thoughts?
1. Monmouth 129.00 2. Quinnipiac 119.00 T3. Fairfield 114.50 T3. Rider 114.50 5. Marist 114.25 6. Iona 113.50 7. Canisius 97.50 8. Manhattan 95.50 9. Siena 82.00 10. Niagara 66.25 11. Saint Peter's 31.00

Did we even win a MAAC title in any sport this year? I was looking at the MAAC website and could not find even one.

Yes, we are still very competitive in many of the sports we used to dominate. Just a bounce here or there away as they say, I guess.

If Dunne can teach MBB to walk and chew gum at the same time Marist should challenge for the cup on a regular basis once again. MBB ineptitude has been killing the Athletic Department in the cup race too.

There really is no reason soccer should be so mediocre. Hell we were mediocre when I played and we were a bunch of fuck ups
