Some of her family sat behind us when Siena came to McCann this season, and I also had the chance to talk to them at the tournament. Really nice people. They were clearly not big fans of the coach.

That would make it seem like were the obvious 2nd pick behind Quinny (if we weren't already)

By the way, the Iona board has news that Philecia Atkins-Gilmore is transferring out (although I think that could well be seen as addition by subtraction). Agree with foxfanatic that we look to be the likely preseason no. 2.

I know Bozella took a player, but that's kind of like having the fix in. It usually flows in the opposite direction due to overreach or changing circumstances at th bigger program.

Can anyone tell me what happened to Maddy Blais, doesn't seem like she got to play this year. Did she get hurt?

She got very sick with, I believe, ulcerative colitis combined with another infection. She has posted a couple of videos with the idea of helping others in a similar condition. I think she took the year off from both school and basketball, don't know if she still plans to try to play for her last year of eligibility at Dayton.

We wish her well, a very good player and better person. Get well Maddie!
