About an hour ago I saw Coach Martin and the entire staff showing a recruit around the campus. He was kinda small so I'm guessing it was a PG. I couldn't recognize the player, but if anyone else has info this recruit or how the visit went that'd be great. (I'm guessing this is a pretty good player or prized target seeing as the whole staff was showing him around; usually it is just Chucky showing the kid around).

Here is the story link that mentions Marist along with other schools for Sean Johnson.
Per Scout.Com.... Sean Johnson isn't ready to break down his recruitment, but when that time comes he should have plenty of options. Johnson, a senior at Christ the King (N.Y.) High School, was named MVP of the CHSAA's "AA" League this week. And coming off of a 38-point performance against Elizabeth (N.J.) High School at the Prime Time Shootout, Johnson has fielded recruiting inquiries from a number of new programs.
"A bunch of new schools have called," said Johnson. "Marist called, VCU, Wichita State, Rhode Island. I've been in contact with Houston a lot (too)."
Head coaches from Manhattan, Quinnipiac, and Iona as well as assistants from Long Island University and Marist were on hand for Christ the King's win over Archbishop Molloy in the Brooklyn-Queens CHSAA Diocesan semifinals on Wednesday night. Johnson scored 33 points, playing a pivotal role in the win.
An athletic slasher with a great motor, Johnson thrives in the transition game and plays hard at both ends of the floor.
Johnson will wait until after his high school season to figure things out.
"I'm not considering any schools right now," said Johnson. "I was going to evaluate it at the end of the season

"I was going to evaluate it at the end of the season Sean Johnson sounds a bit like Prescott in that they both came on big time in their senior year. SP signed early and it seems that SJ played his cards right by waiting since his performances such as the one below has the suitors calling. Well played, even if by accident because his list gets longer. Nice size for a MAAC guard at 6-2, but a bit thin. Nonetheless the kids looks like a playaa with a great attitude and a good bit of upside. Have no idea if it was him, but Marist really need another SG, now that DD is gone? nathanblue.blogspot.com/2009/02/smith-wins-battle-but-christ-king-wins.html

Reporter Brian Towey has a recruiting update on Christ The King senior star Sean Johnson, who had a tremendous playoff run for the Royals last month ... Johnson has set up some campus visits ...
Coming off of a stellar senior season in which he was named MVP of New York City's storied Catholic league (CHSAA), Sean Johnson's recruitment has taken shape. The aggressive wing out of Christ the King will take a pair of official visits this week."He visited Quinnipiac (already)," said Christ the King assistant coach Artie Cox.
"This week he's going to visit Manhattan and Houston," Cox continued. "He's going to visit Northeastern (the week of April 20). During the week in-between he has the Jordan Classic (on April 18), so he's not doing anything." Johnson led Christ the King to the CHSAA AA title game, where the Royals fell to eventual AA State Federation champion Rice.
Sean is a hard-nosed competitor who can beat you several ways offensively. Marist isn't listed among his schools on Scout. Just mentioned in one of the reports. He was supposedly visiting Houston yesterday. He has visited Manhattan, the only other MAAC School mentioned.
