It should be a great day for football, decent weather, alumni football reunion, and a team playing well. In my book, this is a win, we should beat Stetson, and beat them handily.
FYI - Coach P noted the significant playing time of underclassmen. That's a big deal. Hopefully it translates into more playing time and grooming of underclassmen. If so, with another solid recruiting year, we may be in for some good seasons ahead.

YES!!! Grow lead to 28, then get seniors some playing time, then all the young 2nd/3rd teamers

FINAL SCORE:
MARIST 49STETSON 14
Fourth consecutive win for Marist means another weekend for the Red Fox Nation to celebrate!
I don't know what happened in the Den last month but it's working so I won't question it. However, next week is our gut-check game: Dayton (9-0)
Think we can pull the upset?

Going to be tough, but Foxes have a chance. Dayton lost their star RB mid season but finds ways to win ballgames. Advantage Flyers, as they are at home. BUT go Foxes!!!!
On a macro level, IMHO the Flyers as a FB program, are a class act and frankly what Marist should be striving to meet, then beat. Every year they have a winning season and are in the hunt for the PFL championship.

A win over Dayton will greatly raise expectations for next year. I'm not sure we could handle that as a program.
