The main talk around Albany is that it won't matter if Fran goes, Siena will continue to be the marquee program in the MAAC. The rest of the rinky dink schools in the MAAC need not apply. That's funny, I think Marist will definitely better than them even if he stays. Or at least equal. Other than the arena, what edge does Siena have?? Am I missing something?? I wonder if Iona or Niagara thought that way when they were winning a few championships. Chuck just needs to reel off a few titles on neutral courts to stop all of this marquee b.s. I think that could possibly happen next year. If not, definitely the year after. Then we'll talk marquee!!!!

Get ready for some Fran chatter maybe even shouting. You'll be able to hear them cheering in Albany if the wind blows in the right direction. Fran got an 8 year extension from Siena. Next we'll all be reading that the Saints are a lock to win for the next eight years. HA!
Don't forget Marist lost their coach one year after he signed an extension.
Could this be Fran's last year? Let's hope it's his last year on top. Go Red Foxes!
