Ken,
You're right about having enough big guys on the roster. We liked what we saw out of McClenaghan at times. I'm hoping he takes the leap forward. ET can provide depth. Hopefully, RJ and Obi can contribute. I like Momah.. He's got a PF body. Kentrall has some talent. Just needs to work at things. With a full off-season this year, we might see some Maker magic and these guys take a leap forward. It was rushed last year.
Maybe Griffin improves?? He had some nice moments...

ggaff: I was only repeating something I heard this past week. That the Men have one scholarship left. But when I do the math it appears all the scholarships for the coming school year, are spoken for. That's unless there has been some move we are not aware of, yet.

I thought he had one game early that he had a couple nice plays.. It went south after that.. Couldn't shoot and that's his strength.. I like Maker having these guys for a full off-season. I like where we're headed. This time for real!!!

This time for real. Lol. Thats why im quiet. We've had the same conversations for 5 years (off seasons). I seriously respect and trust Maker tho. I have lots of faith in this man. #CommonSenseGenius

It has to be Maker.
I cannot fathom him failing or where that would leave us.

You have been low profile Petagay..
That may be a good omen.. lol
Quiet confidence..
This time for real . This guy has a plan. He told us what he's going to do and he started doing it. I think he's bringing in four really good basketball players.

That would be one hell of a walk-on.. He's got a pretty nice skill set. Moves pretty well for a guy his size. Great shooting mechanics. Good handle. A local kid around here (Kevin Huerter) is getting offers from big-time offers and I don't see much of a difference between him and Funk and Daugherty. Plus, Funk and Daugherty aren't pencil thin... He played against weaker competition too. It's funny how that works. Doesn't hurt that he's the son of Siena's radio announcer and a former Siena player Tom Huerter. He doesn't look that much different to me than Funk and Daugherty. Good shooter..Good feel for the game.. But ND and Syracuse??? Kevin Huerter just ranked as the 73rd BEST PLAYER in the class of 2016!! I woulf say he is a little better player than Kyle Daugherty!

Huerter's a good player. Just a tad overrated if you ask me. He's got good size and he's got a good feel for the game. There have been a lot of guys from this area that get rated all world. Koubek, Elander Lewis, etc. I find it hard to believe that he's the 73rd best high school basketball player in the country. Playing against 5'8 guards from Shaker and Niskayuna is a lot different than playing against physical guards from NYC and the other metropolitan areas. I was more giving props to Daugherty than knocking Huerter. Other than Jimmer, not many guys from this area have lived up to all the fanfare.. We'll see how he does. Seems like a good kid.

The guy in NY that I think will end up surprising people is Jordan Roland. He ended up at GW. Marist offered him. That kid can play..

Not a Siena troll, look at my posting history here, but when you compare Huerter to Daugherty you deserve to be called out.

It wasn't meant to be an exact comparison. More of similar players.. Guys with size that can shoot. Neither one has played a minute of college ball. If Huerter ends up averaging 20 pts a game somewhere, I'll admit I was way off... If they leave him wide open, he probably will.. Most good shooters will..
