For the first time in a long time I am not aware of any in-progress construction projects on campus. Has anyone heard any news on Dyson? I thought it was mentioned somewhere on here that they have slowed down the schedule on Dyson.

I did get a call from the Marist fund yesterday and they mentioned that renovating Dyson is still the plan

According to this "Marist reports that plans to start a medical school have been postponed". Also, "The upcoming expansion of the Dyson Center, which will house the School of Management and School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, is budgeted at $46 million and will be funded using internal operating cash and reserves and grants, but management reports this project has been delayed until fiscal 2022. Other major capex, including the data center and the running track, have been scaled back and have some flexibility in timing. Going forward, Marist projects approximately $3 million-$5 million in routine capital spending annually, for summer facilities projects including renovations, ground repairs and building repairs." www.fitchratings.com/research/us-public-finance/fitch-affirms-marist-college-at-a-outlook-stable-24-07-2020

However, this undergraduate trend can't make them happy. Fitch's language tends to minimize the impact but that is one heck of an "uptick". An uptick in the freshman acceptance rate to 49% in fall 2019 from 38.5% in fall 2014, and the somewhat weaker matriculation rates (24.5% in fall 2019 from 30% in fall 2014) reflect a competitive operating environment.

The Yellen tenure was determined to be a disaster it seems by the BOD. Nearly everything he did is being reversed. How long until the logo is removed from Leonidoff?

Another peer school lapping us. I am tired to the athletics program spinning its wheels. Years of bad MBB, a perpetual .500 football team, lipstick on a pig arena. We operate in the same financial environment as SHU. Where is the money going beside to buyouts?

SHU also plays scholarship FB.
Maybe they are just borrowing and spending recklessly?
