blogs.app.com/hawks/2014/04/25/fifth-year-transfer-brice-kofane-to-monmouth/5th year player and Providence College Brice Kofane joining the Hawks this fall. Immediately eligible. Immediate help. Monmouth was already big, but inexperienced. Now they add more size, and have bought time for their youngsters by bring in an experienced high major guy in Kofane to lead the front court next season. "Strategery" at its best! The article leads you to believe that Kofane was set on Monmouth from the get go, but I would like to think Marist was one of the "host of low and mid-major schools" from which he drew interest.

If Marist is getting killed on the boards next season and he is getting 4-6 caroms and solidifying the defense coming off the bench for MU that should answer the question. When he had a chance his Freshman year he showed he could rebound. He never took many shots but still shot 58%. Lousy free throw shooter, yep.
