PL ship has sailed for Marist. PL expansion is not in the cards. W&M is a No Go, happy in the CAA, actually want more . . .
Until the Board and KW make athletics a real priority with $$$ for an arena for MBB & WBB, new BB facility, AND NEW leadership in the AD we will continue to slip.
Personally, I've stopped writing checks and am not returning Development; Alumni; etc. calls.

In summary:
Mediocre (but improving rankings, we think improving, although published rankings don’t seem to change much and PL says we dumb dumbs) academics. Check
Crappy basketball teams with a crappy basketball arena. Check
Stuck in and consistent cellar dweller of the MAAC, a conference that consistently loses schools that do spend money on athletics, with no $$$ or desire to improve. Check
Mediocre PFL program with no $$$ or desire to improve. Check

You know how many times I dreamed of Marist having the finances for a D1 hockey program in the ECAC or Hockey East?
Develop burgeoning regional matchups with QU, Merrimack, and Holy Cross?
