……Siena has young players they've been winning with. Honestly it might be the Saints at the top in 23-24. Yup. Some irony possibly in the making since Siena WBB and Gina Castelli who were atop the MAAC when Giorgis was hired. The Bad Old Days. Just Sayin….

Elsewhere today: Niagara wins a chippy affair (3 techs) by 3 at home against SPU. Q let Canisius hang around for 37 minutes before finally dropping the hammer.
Mount blew out Rider by 24. I'm kinda shocked at how bad the Broncs have been over the last month.
Tremendous finish at Fairfield - tie game, shot clock off, Janelle Brown absolutely takes Dee Dee Davis's soul and lunch money, plus the basketball. Uncontested layup, Stags beat Manhattan 52-50.

Manhattan totally vaporizing Siena this morning behind Dee Dee Davis outscoring the Saints by herself.

94-45 Siena. Damn!
Mount beat Canisius, Niagara will probably hold on at Rider. Iona-Q is a rock fight. First to 40 wins.

Gaels take it 47 - 42. Not a lot of scintillating offensive talent in the MAAC this year.
The way they play they can lose to anyone, but I wouldn’t want to get Niagara as my tournament opponent

MacKenzie Dewees returns to the Q lineup as they suffocate a deeply disappointing Manhattan squad at Draddy.
Siena and Iona waltz at home as they should against Rider and SPU.
Wacky ending in Connecticut as Harrison for Mount is fouled shooting a 3, but they call a tech on the bench. She makes all 3, Leite makes both of hers on the T, Fairfield wins by 1.

The T was on the MSM head coach for throwing a water bottle to the ground thinking the ref had NOT called the foul, when in fact it was and they would have won if his dumb ass hadn't thrown a tantrum. He should apologize to his players and the AD.

Iona commits 31 turnovers and only gets 1 offensive rebound in the game but still wins at Niagara. Two-game lead now for the Gaels in the race for the 1- seed.

Niagara’s Parker sisters are now the top 2 scorers in the MAAC. I wonder if it has ever happened that two sisters (or brothers, for that matter) were the top two in any league.

Q beats Canisius by 37. They're John Wick right now. I don't like it, but it's happening.

Siena freshman Elisa Mevius from half court at the horn to beat Niagara is on the front page of ESPN.com at the moment.
