Iona acquiring Concordia College (Bronxville, N.Y.) this summer. The Clippers compete in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference in NCAA Division II. Iona's release says they plan to operate it as a fully residential college with its own varsity athletics, so that's a surprise.

Nobody is taking on non revenue sports expenditures. Talk is cheap.
