This program is painful to follow.
We must all be sadists.

Truog is shooting 46 percent from the free throw line. We know he isn't a must player on the floor. This is horrible second guessing, but do you guys think he should have been on the floor in that spot?

I like Maker. I just don't feel like waiting another 3 yrs. It's sad if Coil and some of the recruits aren't D-1 players. That will make it very hard to compete in the next two years. Bower filled half of the roster. Lee can play. I think Momah can play. I'm not sure about the other four. It's sad. We expected CM to win in Yr 3 with the mess he inherited. I guess we'll have more patience with MM. It's the organization that created this mess. If they had a hallway decent big, they win today. That's what I mean by getting an impact JUCO. Someone who clears the boards. They gave up at least 10-15 on ridiculous lost rebound situations.

This is horrible second guessing, but do you guys think he should have been on the floor in that spot? James Smith or Rik Smits would be my choices. Seriously. I'm not sure it would have made any difference. There were 8 seconds left I think when Marist took the ball out of bounds. Hart drove to the hoop and chucked up a heavily defended lay up. Troug tapped it back at the rim couple of times while being fouled. I'm guessing that the thought was that either Hart or Lewis would be the players going to the line in the event of a foul since they were going to have the ball in their hands. Franky, it was damn close to being a goal tend on Quinny which would have tied the game. They refs were at the monitors a very long time before deciding it was simply a foul and 2 shots.

They basically lose every game that Long has missed. And I don't believe Poole has missed many games. Long was back for yesterdays game.

Yes, they are. Their fans bring up the injury situation every loss and the coach talks about it every press conference:).

They got full team and Curry/Hart made huge difference as we where not down 20 5 min into game...that is a HUGE jump in performance. Still missed 7 FTs except the one we tried to miss LOL...
It is hard to stop the excuses when the same excuses are on the coirt ... An in flux of DI talent is only thing that will change our fortunes..

I think Patsos has talked about it more than Maker has talked about his teams woes. Also there are a fair amount of the Siena fan base that are already have the knives out for him. In spite of what he accomplished with the team at the end of last season they think he was a lazy hire by the AD coming on the heels of the previous lazy hire. Some even blame Patsos for the injuries. I'm not feeling sorry for him, but at least (to paraphrase Bill Parcells) Patsos has had the opportunity to shop for the groceries before his cooking was judged.
