Very encouraging news about Tori. Sounds like the Freshman are getting some time too. Get them out there and see what you learn about them. Worked out pretty good that way for the Siena women on Friday night when one of their freshman posted a 29 point, 11 rebound double/double against U.of Buffalo on the road.

Not to be a negative person. I just have a feeling this is the year we take a one year break from the NCAA tourney, maybe get a win or two in WNIT and be right back next year. It is going to happen eventually and I think we are going to need a lot from the newbies to do it this year. Iona and Quinny are primed this year and we know we can't win every single year. I want to enjoy this year watching the development of what could a great team next year. Ofcourse, this coach and these players never let us down, so I think whatever occurs, we have many great things by the end of the year to look forward too.

WHY!!!!! Yankee you have no faith in the Marist WBB machine with one of the best Coaches in the Country. No matter what players he has he seams to find a way to win. "GO LADY RED FOXES"

"GO LADY RED FOXES" Did you not read the last sentence. It is not blasphemy to suggest they may not win the MAAC title this year. They lost a lot, have injury issues and have to work in a lot of new players. And they obviously could still win it. But this is a year I am not as confident and if they do fall short, it won't be a lack of effort from either the coaches or players.

This is basically the way I felt about this year's team and the competition. Then the coaches pick them tied for 1st and they put 3 kids on all-maac teams. If I have 3 all maac players on your my team I probably wouldn't be thinking about "next" year until this season was over. I guess it all comes down to how the kids moving into the starting line up develop. If Tori can start on a regular basis they they are a substantiallly different team than the one that is going to open the season today. They get "big" up front and deeper and taller in the backcourt with the addition of one player because Maddy stays in the lineup and Van Horn can come off the bench. Go Red Foxes!

Clement and Birchmeier are playing well in their first game DI - just not hitting shots while other team is shooting 60% form 3 - got some work to do

No rebounding or inside game (we need Tori).....the zone seemed more effective than the man-to-man. The Frosh did show promise
