www.youtube.com/watch?v=klZ8PoIuqBk&feature=youtu.beThe first day of official preseason practice raises the curtain on what should be one of the most interesting seasons in many years for the program. Lots of opportunity for those who can step up and earn it. Go Red Foxes!

Who is Morgan Metcalf? Team roster has that she joined the team as a walk-on in October 2014. Taking Delaney's spot?

She took Tampano's spot - she was a Soph who just went out for team this year.

What happened to Timpano? Also, any word on when the Red/White scrimmage is going to be?

Nothing happened to her still at Marist - guessing her heart wasn't into it - even as a walk on that is a huge commitment and very time consuming.

It might be over also -
The number of injuries is staggering!
Clement is having issues with same leg she had operated on last year (not to mention stomach "bug") - my concern is this is why we have gotten some recruits because of their injuries so other teams shy away from. (Hollenbeck)
If we don't have a healthy Tori this team is middle of the pack. I'm sure coach will have them prepared mentally but with short bench they will be run down come MAAC time.

I think we are getting the kids we are getting because of the program and its success!!! I too hope that Tori's and Clement's injuries and not lingering - I think Clement's stomach "bug" was minor surgery and that should not be an issue - i too hate the word "reoccurring"
The video yesterday was correct in that we are going to need to see someone or someones who didn't see a lot of minutes in previous years come in and play a substantial role this year. Remember even the girls who have been on the bench where great players in HS and were all excellent recruits they all have it in them to step up their games.

Always a sophomore/junior that step up big time. I am thinking maybe Van Horn and Fogarty. ALSO, lets remember how much Blais improved last year. Plus we have Coffey. Both of them are going to have more oppurtunities this year. They will be fine.

Actually "indefinitely" says it all given her history. Hopefully it's turns out not to be as bleak as it sounds and can get back at some point to this season to bolster the front court. So sad.

The team, with how many titles in a row? If the player, leg injuries are notorious for coming back year after year. This is why in football, I can almost guarantee Cowboy fans will be devastated within 3 weeks when Murray goes down again. Tori didn't sound too down, so I don't think this is that long term.
