Yeah Watson has concussion symptoms. This was another brutal embarrassing performance. Marist made it closer vs. Kelsey Grammar and the SPC end of bench in the final minute. SPC really didn't play well after the first 15 minutes but it was still enough to win comfortably in our house.
Price really had a rough game...that's a number of rough outings after playing well the first few games after Hall went out.
SPC has some solid young players in Samuels and Conley...those guys look further ahead compared to our underclassmen.
CM teams continue to trend down as the season goes on while other young teams (like Niagara winning at Loy tonight) get better as the year goes on. All bad signs for us Marist fans.
By the way that NIA win moves us to 9th...10th place here we come!

Rusin scored the 1 point he needed to get to 500 in this game. His 500 points make him Marist's current leading career scorer.

Watson was out with a concussion. Did anyone really think that Marist had a shot of winning this game? The season is over. . . Good night gentlemen.

St Peters stopped trying after the first 15 minutes. They coasted the entire 2nd half.

Thanks petagay. I had not seen these before. I guess the sky is not falling in on the coach like many seem to hope.

The video is simply Chuck's attempt to rationalize another loss, his 75th in three years (against 15 wins).
To put his comments about the Marist win against St. Peter's three years ago into context, that St Peter's team was 11-19 overall that year and 8-10 in the MAAC; and; got better as the season went along, even though their core players were then just sophs. We beat then by six in the game he refers too (at home) and lost by 10 to them on the road.
So, St. Peters' young players were almost .500 in the MAAC in the year that CM refers to in the video. We're nowhere near that with our young players in a similar situation.

There are people here living in denial - 12 Angry Men - how about "3 blind mice", there has been nothing that has shown this team will win games next year, there has been nothing that shows that this coach can coach. There has not been one real argument as to why we should keep him..... other then "we don't want a revolving door" or look what Duke did in year 4...... not one of the pro-Martin guys can give me an example of a good coaching move by Martin, no one can show me a stat that shows they are getting better..... no those who love Martin might be able to come up with Prescott had 38 points - that was an anomaly just like the Penn win.
These are all Martin's guys right now - heck he isn't playing Bauer, and they stink to high heaven as a team.

Sorry Nomar but there is one very good reason why we will keep him. Money!

I don't think anybody hasn't said they are disappointed with the results or that a firing might not be warranted. Last I knew, we don't have the decision in our hands. I'll let the AD make the call. He's around the team.

AD wasn't at this most recent Iona game. Maybe just away. Or maybe thoroughly disgusted:).

I just find the outrage to be a little bit strange... Can't just say that you think a change is warranted. The amount of anger is bizarre. And the references to pro-Martin supporters constantly. If I'm in that group , I'd be glad to discuss the rantings and ravings in person at the MAAC tourney. I'm sure the tone would be more civilized in person.
