I want them to keep developing Watson, Kemp, and Bowie . That's not a bad trio. Candon doesn't seem to be getting any better unfortunately. Gotta let Price get the majority of minutes. When Prescott gets the ball consistently , he scores. I say play the best 7 guys until they drop. Kemp and a fully in shape Watson will be very good for the next 3.5 yrs. They just have to get Prescott, Bowie, and Price to score consistently. I don't see much of a future for Candon. If "shoooters "can't shoot more consistently, they are a liability. I'm hoping they bring in a scorer to replace Rob. They need a consistent 15 pt a night guy. I'd go the JUCO route if necessary.

I am sorry for the continued negativity, but that second half means NOTHING to me. They did this last year too. They get killed one half, then they do better the other half. This crap happens over and over with this coach. Why in the he.. is Prinsloo starting right now at Power Forward? CAN ANYONE defend that garbage of a decision. Martin should be ashamed the way he is throwing away Bauers senior year because he won't be here next year. BE RESPONSIBLE to the fans and players this year too dammit. Jesus, this coach is beyond frustrating.

I agree with Yankee regarding the value of the second half since it's a 40-minute game. Unfortunately, the Foxes again got out rebounded and again had a negative assist-to-turnover ratio. Can't win games this way.
I think the talent level is better than last year and both Kemp and Bowie look like they have potential to really excel in the MAAC. Rusin is simply a catch-and-shoot guy, deficient in all other areas of the game. We need less of Rusin and more of Prescott.
Bottom-line: Coaching is the problem.
At this rate, any hope to play .500 ball next year seems like a real long-shot.

I agree that Prinsloo starting is garbage. It makes no sense and takes minutes away from Watson or Bauer. Prinsloo is not ready...he's a project big...it's ok to not play him this year coach!!
Also don't like the cameo's by guys like Carter and Goodwin just to get in the game for a possession or two before a timeout. Those usually end up as wasted possessions as those two players are so limited. I understand that Goodwin needs a few minutes with Price out but we really should be seeing no more than 9 guys. No Goodwin, Prinsloo or Carter from here on out unless injury or foul problems.
Rusin needs to play and get his act together. He can put the ball on the floor and get his own shot either getting to the hoop or shooting a mid range jumper. The problem is nothing is going in anymore. If he can finish those shots consistently instead of once every 3-4 games he'll be an asset. He definitely still has some of the best scoring potential on the team.
Prescott needs to start in the three guard set instead of Prinsloo but he also needs to get more consistent himself. His outside shot has regressed this year. He shot over 40% from three last year, this year he's at 28%. Also I've noticed that while Prescott is a very good transition player and has alot of athleticism vertically he seems to lack a quick first step. When the team is in the half court offense he seems to have a hard time beating his man and getting into the lane. Once he's in the lane he's a very effective player. Maybe he's had a minor injury or something. I seem to remember him being quicker side to side last year.

During the first half Ed Weir said the coach was acting like a chemist, experimenting with different line-ups. We are almost 3 months into the season, since practice started, and we are still experimenting? They can say it's due to the injuries but it appears to be more than that. That said, I have noticed a different approach for MAAC games opposed to out of conference games. Less experimenting at MAAC games. It's the MAAC games that count. Let's see who plays against FF. As far as coming out of the locker room flat, that is the coaching staff's problem. I don't get it. They have two months left to show significant improvement.

How does Martin justify this? why won't anyone ask him or press on him in interviews? He played Prinsloo 14 minutes last night, and Bauer 3! THREE MINUTES!? The kid is a senior who gave you 30 solid minutes a game last season! There is no improvement at all this year outside of RJ. I fail to find any spots that have brightened this season outside of him. This team has been outscored by 206 pts this season, an average of 14 a game...we have three wins, but so what? I honestly don't think we were this outmatched last year. we only lost 5 games by 20+ last year, we've already lost 5 by 20+ this year, and very well could've last night and vs an atrocious Holy Cross team at home... This program is an abomination that is getting more not less painful to watch. I don't see any positives right now, do you? I know the team isn't that good, but coach, play your best players. Prinsloo is Vouyoukas right now, let Korey play the last serious basketball of his life, he deserves that for what he gave you last year.
