The garbage time crew outplayed the starters and rotation kids. Yup. Impressed with the way Rife used her body to make space and flip the ball in from close.

It became obvious early on in the season that they don’t have much talent. What’s most concerning is they have gotten worse as the season progressed. I know I have asked this before, but where can we see coaches post game comments? This is just so bad right now

Coach needs to just give these other players some chances. These current rotation players just aren't up to task. What's worst that can happen, lose worse? Big deal.

Sometimes it’s a video with a game recap by the coach.

Attendance is cratering too. I don't think anyone could have predicted this disaster. Everything needs to be reevaluated after this season

Cherish the memories of the past when the Jedi Master was at the helm…he made it what it was….it’s over folks. A lot of great memories to reflect upon…

Not sure the jedi master could have success in todays NCAA environment. S/W player from just 8 years ago and they say same thing - name on back is more important than name on front.

I will always have fond memories of Marist’s great 20 year run. However, my fandom lives in the present and to compete in D1 today so do Marist and the MAAC. The MAAC is currently conducting a survey in conjunction with their strategic planning process that anyone can complete. Consider completing it. Let them know that you are concerned about the competitiveness of the league, particularly the basketball programs, without NIL at every school. Also, that the league office should strongly encourage schools to explore an NIL collective to support their student/athletes. The presidents oversee the commissioner and will undoubtedly review the results of the survey. They are the ones who can make change. They want to know what you think about the state of the MAAC. Take the opportunity to let them know. Article and Survey Link

Ahhh, but he could…he was the master. I have no doubt he would make it work today. I knew him in high school when I was 14 years old. I’m almost 56 now. Everything he touched coaching wise he turned to gold. Everything. He won at whatever sport he coached. He was special in that regard. He just had “it”. We were just lucky enough that he was a local guy and the transition from my HS OLL to Marist was a natural one after his multi state titles and national rankings…
