We have had several dog 💩 games, not one.
I agree about talent and potential, but ultimately it is about results.
They are up and down, so yes, they are soft as pudding. A tough team, mentally and physically, is consistently tough. This team often doesn’t show-up.
Don’t tell me that this team is going to light it up in AC for the entire tourney.
One game maybe, and then likely blown out of the building.

Then the bar is to have a decent season , looks like we will accomplish that , and then play in the conference finals.. Remember it was 46 to 46 with 10 minutes to go in the Championship game last year .better depth this year .We don't have that star player like we had last year ,which is missed , but we have filled some gaps that we had .

The second half of the league schedule has yet to be played. However, the team play is trending in the wrong direction. It’s gonna be hard for me to consider the regular season a success if they finish out of the top 5.

Marist: pass around the perimeter, heave up a shot at random
MSM: pass to the guy cutting to the basket, lay it in
Dunne: not a good coach

The formula for opponents is to double Allen and stay on Pascarelli. Dare Daughtry/Collins to take shots. And hope the ball doesn't get to Farris/Cooley/Harris.
Daughtry from 3 in the first 5 games: 4/10 Daughtry in the 14 games since: 4/25
Same with Collins: 2/4 Since: 2/14
Brickner is 0 for his last 8 from deep. Last made 3pt bucket was against Maryland Eastern Shore.
Hopefully Sulack can stretch the floor and be an added scoring threat. Big thing is how does he defend and rebound.

It was awful in person. It is dull basketball. There is no Plan B, no in-game adjustments. MSM swatted a pass, and it was an audible slap. A not good team laid it on them in a big way.

We are a fan base … many people call it as they see it others keep trying to view everything through rose colored glasses When all you talk about is the MAAC tournament then why watch rest of year? It’s like we can be 0-30 but if they get lucky and win 4 games in March the season is a success. They had a nice run last year but they were still a 20 loss team - that is NOT a successful season When I taught kindergarten, we sang, "if you are happy and you know it, clap your hands......, if you are mad and you know it stomp your feet....". In regards to Marist mens basketball you are a stomper. BE A CLAPPER! Have faith.

They were 7-2, now 10-10. It was hard to watch. There was nothing to recommend from the game. That’s not complaining. It’s the truth. They made a run last year, but otherwise, Dunne has delivered zero. They have to try someone else. He coaches like he’s just cashing a paycheck.

It does affect a viewpoint some. I have watched since Smits years. Making a conference final is not something to sneeze at. Being competitive in maac is just something that has been rare. We can want to get consistently great, but the reality is it just hasn't been easy here. Have to build towards it

Santa Claus looked like this the last time we won a conference crown.

Yankee you are so far removed from reality - PS when we were kids we were also told there was a Santa Claus This context doesn't make sense. And anyway, there is a Santa if you have a heart. Not everything is in body form nomar. You need to find your inner spirit and shoe away the grumpy grouchy anger. Marist played a horrific game. They have played some terrific games. They are neither horrific or terrific as a whole. But I do see the potential for them to be good enough to win the maac title.

Here’s the thing, they have been both horrific and terrific depending on the day of the week. Or sometimes both in the same game, sans Siena.
There is no excuse for how many horrific games this team has played.
Last night was a debacle.

So why would we not think they can put it together for a few days like they did last year?
