Your Marist Red Foxes travel to Fairfield looking to snap a two game losing streak and more importantly stay undefeated in league play. Interim Head Coach Chris Casey has pushed all the right buttons in the last month or so as the Stags are going for their eighth consecutive win today. The Stags are coming off a Friday night 93-69 road dismantling of an indifferent Siena Team. Senior and Providence transfer Brycen Goodine had a career game scorching the defenseless Saints for 40 points in 31 minutes, off the bench, no less. Senior Jaylen Leach chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Fairfield is loaded with experienced transfers including grad student Caleb Fields from Bowling Green University, Junior Birima Seck from University of New Mexico, Grad student Alexis Yetna of Seton Hall, and Senior Louis Bleechmore from Saint Joes. All but Yetna are significant contributors or regularly starters. Fairfield's experienced line-up is the type that has given Marist problems this season (bingo and UNH). Hopefully, the Foxes are at full strength. Q.- Have the young in comparison Foxes made the strides necessary in overall maturity and poise to go toe to toe with a significantly more experienced foe? Hopefully the answer is "yes". Go Red Foxes!!!

No Allen. No McCool either, had a death in the family per the pregame audio on RFN (didn't practice all week, not available).

Allen is our most important player, our offensive spacing without him on the floor last game and today has been very poor, and the shot selection has suffered as a result

the awful turnovers are not due to Allen being out

Also Allen doesn't defend the perimeter which is giving up 3s at a record pace

lol I’m not saying he’s the solution to every problem but we’re notably worse without him out there. Also if you don’t think good spacing doesn’t affect turnovers you’re nuts.

Defend the 3 and cut down on turnovers and it'd at least be closer.
Hopefully they learn from games like this. The MAAC is a 20 game schedule, a 2-0 start won't get them anything if they follow up with play like this

Ugh. Bad first half. Anyone know how long Allen expected out?

Ugh. Bad first half. Anyone know how long Allen expected out? Allen did not make the trip. They do not know how to run the offense without him.
