Kudos to Iona 19-20 from line. Pretty simple they are a much better team

The fact that none of these games have been particularly close gives me the sinking feeling that 2-28 is on the table.

Down 11 going into 4th - we have not beaten anyone by 11 in a quarter so that is game. Iona only had 4 players score, with Natalia Otkhmezuri scoring 25 through 3 and we have NO-ONE that could defend her whatsoever. 1-9 from Fisher - i just dont see this personnel getting better. Yup. What we see is what we are going to get. It’s probably time to rethink the values that underlie their approach to recruiting and player development. Nothing has worked for 3 years. Nothing to see here otherwise. It has nothing to do about Talent or recruiting. IT is all about coaching. Nothing there. Erin has been with the team for 22 years and in my opinion did not learn anything.

No offense. No defense. What could go wrong. None of this means they won’t win another game or two this season, but best thing I can say about this Marist team is they stay bought in. Not just going through the motions. Got to give props to Zaria and Kiera for doing their part to keep the players together.
When you are two and eleven maybe the coach shouldn’t be telling the broadcast crew that her program has a “talented huddle”. If that’s the case it’s kind of like indicting yourself.

This program went down fast. Flat lined Yup. It’s like everyone checked out with Weimer. “Well that last 20 years was fun. See ya!”

We have always been able to put a great defender on opponents best player - that person seems to be missing. We are slow on defense be it by lack of athleticism or injury

The recruiting hasn't really been good. The freshman recruits the last few years haven't panned out well. Erin and staff need to put in a ton of hours recruiting, find better talent.

If you give her 3 more years recruiting we may as well go DIII. She has no coaching ability at all and no, do not gige her two more years. I have watch over 3,000 Marist games and they are playing like a high school freshman team. No form, now flow, no plays, no diving for the lose ball, no taking charges and no fight to win. For example you have your 6'5" player shooting 4 3's instead of being in the paint getting rebounds. As someone use to say, "They Mailed It In". If Erin stays two more years then you are going to have the same results.

But you appear to have an agenda like others do in regards to getting AD fired. Coach will not be fired after this horrible year. She shouldn't be. She needs to do a LOT better. But I bet even coach Giorgos will admit the last few years of recruiting suffered because their was doubt about his future. That is natural. she is off to a really bad start, but let's see what she can do on recruiting and then keeping players. But she has to work huge hard. This is going to require HUGE effort

You need to give her 3 years. Yes, she aided in recruiting but that doesn't mean those are her recruits. As was said, the team seems to be behind her which is a positive.
Also, another great aspect of Marist basketball is the history/culture. That's the advantage with Erin as coach you still continue that tradition that Giorgis started. You can have ex-players talk positively about her to coaches/programs etc.

Also clearly Kiara is not 100 % and not sure if Thompkins will be able to go this year
