There is a postgame interview with Dunne on GRF. He talked about lack of poise at the end of both the ND and Lehigh games. Thinks they have lots of room for improvement which he spun as a positive. Beyond what has been reported on the board and a peek at Verbal Commits it’s hard to know who they are recruiting for ‘24. However, sitting in the stands yesterday it was pretty plain to see they need to bring in an ther guy with some center skills. Price is a great 4 but he is not a center in the sense that Max Allen’s game makes other things possible on offense for the Foxes. Maybe the staff was just out of options yesterday due to the 3 scratches and Price’s foul woes, but if the staff is going to play McCool outside of garbage time he needs to get more minutes regularly so he doesn’t look like a deer in the headlights at the foul line.

Every loss is a bad loss. They were six point favorites not 16. There were two possessions in the game that turned a possible 5-7 pt win into a loss. They were up 3 and had a bad offensive possession. It turned into an old fashioned 3 point play at the other end. If they score on that possession, there is no three pt play at the other end and they probably win going away. Saying they choked is pretty ridiculous.. That's basketball. A lot of games come down to a few possessions. If Lehigh was picked the in the Patriot League it would be a bad loss. And by the way ND beat Virginia. Take a chill pill.

I'm with Yankee. This is the standard I always expected. We'll go into every MAAC game expecting a win if we play well. They are a very unselfish team. They will have off games. But the effort is always there. I doubt Lehigh expected to get off to the slow start they did . They were picked 2nd in their league and have a very good coach. Would have loved to win those two games. But the other teams want to win too. I'll call a game a choke if you're up 10 with 5 or less to play. The Lehigh game was close all the way through the second half. They had a few guys come up big. Not the end of the world. And yes ,not having Allen was huge.
