You can get mad at me/us all you want. If you really read into what I am saying it is more directed at college and support given or not given....
With 15 scholarships it gives a coach more flexibility - Erin does not have that.
If this 2-10 team stays on this path, why would you not want to move on and try to build for future? I agree a truly healthy Fisher (which has not been case) is going to be better than anything we bring in.
So if you are telling me that just practice will change the athleticism, perimeter shooting, speed on defense, rebounding, to the point where if we played that exact schedule next year this same team would be 7-5 then ok.
IMO - if ANY coach is gonna truly succeed they need more support then what she currently has - NIL, $ to recruit overseas (is overseas the answer to all? maybe not but no NIL), but mostly the 15 scholarships - you could manage with 13 when you don't have to worry about losing best players every year (the Weimers of the world)
We have an issue shooting from perimeter - the offense is generating looks but as of today no one seems to be able to make a 3 (team .289), being out rebounded 473-400.
Yes we butchered the Men when they played this bad - and so far this season has been great and we will enjoy the ride BUT if Dunne ends up with 2 ALL Rookies again it will be very tough for him to keep them as things stand, but we will cross that bridge end of year.
People on this board tune into every game, we could be like most other women fans in the MAAC and not care at all. Maybe that would be preferred, then to listen to us give our opinions.

Today was obvioulsy upsetting but they did chip away and get back, though lost it at the end. I keep looking at the Niagara team from last year. Niagara started 1-8.
Kiara had a very rough shooting day, but I don't expect her to go 0-7 from 3 very often. Also, it drove me crazy how often she turned over the ball last year. This year she is doing great with 33 assists vs 6 TOs in 5 games.

Sometimes you people are amazing! You guys have all the answers! For 20 years I saw you do it to the men's program and now you are doing it to the women's program. Maybe Mr. Murray should hire all of you to fix the whole athletic program. From reading past posts, you've already packed in this year and next and, to boot, you (Nomar) don't want Zaria or Kiara back next year to free up their scholarships - 2 preseason All MAAC Players! Personally, I would love to see Erin and her staff have a summer and fall to work with Kiara on her game and have her play with her teammates more than the 8 practices she's had with them since last March! It's a very young team experience wise and it shows in there consistency. They are very inconsistent and that's been the problem. Hopefully, if they can stay healthy (or get healthy) I think they will get better! Support this team - in bad times as well as in good times. If you can't, jump over to the men's side. God knows you were brutal to them the past two decades and Coach Dunne team is doing a great job this year! Would you say recruiting has been subpar past few years? Or do you think the talent isn't being developed well? I think we can all agree the results are not good. As Parcells said, you are what your record says you are.

As soon as a shot is taken by us EVERYONE is immediately running back vs trying to get rebound on a miss (and we miss often) - Cornell came into game last in Ivy in rebounds and they are out rebounding us 18-6. We need to change our philosophy because getting back on D doesn't seem to stop other team from scoring This has been the case for years, not just now with Erin - just coaching the way she was taught. This, along with the inability to break the press which has been a problem through the years, needs to be addressed.
