Seppala and Mevius are like 27 years old each, how are they freshmen? What is this, college hockey?
Two years away, no way, Siena will win the MAAC next season as long as they don't anger the portal gods.

There was NOTHING positive to take from last nights game. But you want to see a rebuild Siena is ALL underclassmen. He ran off everyone he didn't want and did one heck of a recruiting job - they are going to win the MAAC in 2 years mark my words. Turnarounds can be quick - but need all the tools and support to do it. You either need full compliment of scholarships or you need to create scholarships, only way that is done is by running people off (and that is not desirable) Erin needs to bring in a very strong #2 who can open up recruiting to other areas of the country. Maybe we need more international resources - find those gems overseas Everything you said is true if Jabir is still around. He has a problem of disappearing at times and winding up at another College.

Brian My wife and I remember the many years of enjoyment you gave us. Enjoy your relaxation. One off season doesn't tarnish a remarkable record. Thanks also to K Krick who was loyal to the end and always gave it her best.

OK still thinking POSITIVE here; I understand most folks are already preparing their board comments for the off season and next year, but 15 young ladies still have to take the court over the next two weeks.
Just some jibber jabber.
If the stars align, swapping out my crystal ball with my reliable Magic "8" Ball, some lay-ups are made, free throws fall and the occasional three pointer finds it's mark and the team plays like they did in Ireland a first round bye is doable.
A lot of stars have to implode and hope that:
Fairfield loses to Marist and Quinnipiac and what should be a win for them at SPU, leaves them 10-10 and 14-15 overall.
Manhattan loses to the Mount and Iona with a probable win at home against Rider, leaves them 9-11 and 12-17 overall.
That leaves the Foxes, again all positive thoughts here, right?
Wins against Fairfield and Rider away, a Retirement HOMME win for Coach this Saturday against NU and HEY why not? The upset of the season for the Foxes with a win at Iona. That would put the Foxes at 11-9 and 15-14 overall and the 5th seat. A lose to Iona, would put them at 10-10 and 14-15 overall same as Fairfield, Nomar? then what? Who gets the Bye?
If your traveling to the game Saturday have the McCann rocking, those young ladies will definitely feed off the energy of the crowd, it seems to work for the men's team, it should be absolutely deafening on Saturday afternoon; from the opening Tip-Off to every basket made, every defensive stand, every steal and every free throw that finds the bottom of the net!!!!!!! Show Coach Erin what she can expect next season.

Lot of “what if’s” - hard to believe fortunes or talent will change this late in season.
Those who have not run motion all year won’t all of a sudden start. Those who force up shots won’t start making that extra pass. This who are not intense on D won’t all of sudden start

Indeed, hope is not a strategy. I will be happy if unexpected success occurs but I generally find magical thinking distasteful.
