Shazer keeps getting better and better. So slick in the post.

Marist has had and 1s on like 3 of its last 4 trips. They're following the script.

Not a good last minute of the 3rd. Would be good to answer back asap.

I will have to make a note to myself that it's good when they make threes. Should probably keep doing that!

But for KK’s knee they would probably be 4-1 in their last 5 with a touch of momentum. Sigh…..

Zaria and Kiara played like the All-MAAC talents they are, Krick with 14 in her return and maybe most importantly another strong game for Morgan Tompkins.
The light switch has flipped on for her and you love to see it.

The light switch has flipped on for her and you love to see it. And Croker is next. She is very aggressive and fouling similar to Shazer freshman year. Get her composure together and she’s going to be very good as well.

That's more like it. Good efforts from all.

Croker, Tompkins, and Pidick remind me of Okenden, Dulin, and O'Connor. I think the potential is there (with some steady growth) to be as good as that class was, (well I'm hoping anyway).

I’m saying it now, we’re going to win it next year if we don’t lose any of the freshman, Zar, or Fisher even without any transfers in.
I have been wondering if the Parker sisters go somewhere for Angel Parker’s Covid year but have a feeling they will stay at Niagara.

They need an athletic wing who can shoot the 3 and defend and they need center who can score some. Relying on Maeve is way too risky given her history of injuries. She is almost guaranteed to miss time. I was hoping that Tompkins could play the wing but she doesn’t shoot well at all (.188) from distance. If the new regime can fill those holes from the portal then I’m with you. Otherwise, they have the look of a .500-ish team to me.

She is always around the ball and is a tough rebounder and her scoring getting better.

Definitely not giving up on Tompkins, Bigred. Just not sure what position she fits best. Not a point guard or a wing, though she could defend an opposing wing. You can’t hand her Krick’s spot next season unless she drastically improves her shooting. She can rebound and is tough and athletic. At 5’11” I almost see her as an undersized 4. Alana Gilmer was one inch taller and played the 4. Time and player development will tell.
