Siena rallies from 13 down to take the lead at Fairfield but will have to play the last 5 minutes of regulation and any OT with only 5 players. MAAC is on bath salts tonight. By the way, Siena, down to 5 players after one fouled out, beat Fairfield in OT to finish off what has to be the wildest bunch of games in one night in MAAC history

Mount recap notes that the last man or woman to score 44 at Knott Arena was none other than former Red Fox turned Mountaineer Sam Prescott. Freaky!

We get down on Kiara for not being the prototypical Marist Point guard. Tonight she started just her 29th game for Marist. That’s about 1 season worth of games. Add in the paltry number of minutes she played as a freshman at SU and she basically has the game experience of a sophomore. Given time and coaching I believe that she can learn to trust and execute the team concepts of Marist basketball more than her reliance on her own skills and take that next step into the rarified air of becoming a POY candidate. Fisher is a great player with a lot of talent. Just let her play her game and the team rally around her, Period.

Donnelly has more minutes. She does so much you can't afford to take her out of the game. Maeve averages 17.5 minutes a game. Tonight was an exception. She played 21. For whatever reason she gets pulled at the 6 minute mark of every quarter. That just might be the limit of her stamina. Problem is BigRed. If you don’t want to go small, then Bailey is coming off the bench for her 4 minutes per quarter. IMHO Donelly can play more minutes (21 tonight), and Bailey should never see the court period.

Wow, great game by Fisher and Shazer. Love the secondary stats for both of them as well. If they can be the example of team ball, they can do some things. But once again, poor job by bench. What happened with the recruiting last couple years? Couple stars, but not much else.

She has the ability to raise others with her talents. 44 points is great. 6 assists is very encouraging. The greats make others better.

I will never criticize any individual player on this team and I will block anyone who does so. Criticize team results if you will, but to call out individuals is pretty crappy.
