Hopefully pick up at least one win in Ireland.
Seems whether they end up middle of the MAAC or bottom will depend if at least one or two of the freshmen can hit their stride and are All-Rookie players

Marist has three division 1 players on this team.

You figure maybe when Fox returns that will diminish PT for Bailey and Bonilla. They simply provide nothing at all.

Marist has three division 1 players on this team. And apparently the staff didn't see the need to use the last scholarship

They need to recruit international and Midwest/West/South exclusively.
There's no talent in the Northeast anymore, stop taking whatever crap the Empire Blue Flames or whatever they're called spit out.

That ship sailed a while ago IMO. However, I’m wondering if the “brand” has been killed off in the process.

The motion offense has never looked this bad. Every trip down is the same shit. People are just hanging out by the 3 pt line. Very little driving to the basket. Its hard to watch

Didn't watch the game, but did Green Bay just go zone for 40 minutes? That's literally all you have to do against a motion team that can't shoot threes.
It's like asking someone to drive across a river when a tree has fallen across the bridge.

Just thoughts,
Motion Offense (check me if I'm off here) is "Read and React", with the Point Guard running the show, which would mean seeing what the defense is giving up, passing to cutting players and finding the obvious mismatches down low and sharing the ball. Where's the "We instead of Me"?
With that said, there seems to be something lacking when the guards, especially the Point Guards are not seeing the offensive play unfold around them. Of the 23 assist as a team in the first three games a full 30% have come from the Forwards, doesn't make sense.
FT's, NOT FREE, they where earned and to make just over 60% is not good. Shooting beyond the Arc, well 14-56 .250% says a lot.
The team is starting out fast, but then the dreaded 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters happen and the wheels fall off.
Donnelly is getting more comfortable each game and will keep getting better and better, now they just have to pick it up the shooting. No worries, only three games in against some really good players on the opposing teams that stepped up.
As to Shooters comment on Coach Erin having to gut and start over.......unless I'm mistaken, it's her (and Coach Maggie's) recruits on the current roster, minus Bailey who was recruited by Coach Keila. No reason to "Abandon Ship" and I'm absolutely positive this team will get it together and provide Coach with more that 3-4 wins and surprise you.
For all our Veterans on the board, "Thank you for your service".
