I love how physical hernangomez is. I wonder how many of the Fairfield players use the 5th year after his retirement. Extremely happy for them. Manhattan is going to be a force again next year. Vulin has done great.

congrats to Fairfield, best team in the MAAC this year from Day 1. Q gets the WNIT auto bid but I hope Manhattan gets to play postseason hoops too, they deserve it.

IMO - Dee Dee Davis is awesome. Yup. She could be around for a couple of more years also. Manhattan recruits very well. They will be contesting for a title regularly as long as H.V. is H.C. Very pleased to see Frager go out on top.

Creme Bracketology has them as a 14. Only decent team they beat out-of-conference was Stetson. 14 would be nice, not likely a winnable game, but the 2-15 games are impossible.

Fairfield gets a 15 against Texas who beat Baylor today.
MAAC not getting much respect recently. Maybe if some good players stay for a fifth year they can lead teams to a few good out-of-conference wins.

Unfortunately the Stags couldn’t manage a win in an “up” game out of conference. Looking forward to their game and how Lou fares against an elite team.

Princeton (is a mid-major allowed to have so many good shooters?) gets an 11 and has to play the SEC tournament champs, Kentucky. Has to be the first SEC champ to be seeded as low as 6, but they only got good when it counted

Princeton played a great OOC schedule. Had 6 games scheduled against teams that are dancing. They won four with one being cancelled. That’s how a top mid-major gets an 11 seed.

Quinny had an 8 or 9 a couple of years back when they had to play UConn in Storrs in the second round. I think that was the year after they got to Sweet 16, which doubtless also helped.

And the Foxes were a 7 seed the year after they made the Sweet 16, beating DePaul, then facing 2 seed LSU on their home floor in the 2nd round.
