Price is definitely more of a stretch 4 than a banger down low and Allen is more of a true center so I see the benefit of both playing together. Although I could also see a lot of two wings and one big lineups.
Depth chart should look something like this…I can easily see Nwankwo starting over Cooley as well as Farris getting buried on the bench in favor of Collins/Pascarelli/Sulack getting more minutes than him.
Starters PG- Isaiah Brickner 6’4” SG- Noah Harris 6’1” SF- Javon Cooley 6’5” PF- Jackson Price 6’8” C- Max Allen 6’9”
Bench PG- Jadin Collins 6’0” SG- Kam Farris 6’3”, Josh Pascarelli 6’2” SF- Trace Salton 6’5”, Isaiah Sulack 6’5” PF- Jeff Nwankwo 6’6”, Jaden Daughtry 6’6” C- Matt McCool 6’8”

Definitely seems like a nice get. Tbh there’s not much size in the MAAC so I think we can get away with only having 1 real post player

Seems like the perfect situation for Allen if he can stay healthy. There's not many big guys that are stopping that beef.
Three years is really nice for us, too.

Well I guess another scholarship is available.
I'm guessing coaching change means one the Marist assistants actually is leaving? Or did Cowley get a new coach? Or maybe some other reason like academics since he signed, and instead of trying for another D1 offer it's an announcement back to JUCO. Odd.

HoopDirt posted that assistant coaching job posting a few weeks ago, but we never heard who left the staff.

This is a big loss in my opinion. Very athletic/tough kid w a active motor. Played D1 football early in his career. Dog mentality. Experience student athlete. Doesn't make any sense from his pov to step back down. Who the hell are giving these kids advice/counsel. Smdh.

I have to assume there were some academic/eligibility issues. You don't go back to the juco unless you have to because you ain't eligible to play NCAA ball yet.

I agree shooter. That just means he’s waiting another year of eligibility though I wonder if it’s because we brought in another big who will play over him. He’s best shot may be to go back and have a solid year then transfer rather than sit the bench and not play/not be able to transfer. (I forget timing of each commitment and the sequence)

If we are, I'd love to take a flier on Keita from St. John's.
