Yale finishes off Fairfield with a 16-2 run to close out the game and deal the Stags a disappointing home loss.

Fairfield loses 71-64 to Yale. The 30-point second quarter featured 4 threes by Sam Lewis, in one of her occasional imitations of a more well-known #30 who hits a lot of threes. The rest of the way she only hit one, and they scored 34 total in three quarters. Not the only reason, of course, but LLS can’t do it all herself

She featured a floater in the lane and hit every timely 3 her team needed today. I say that despite the fact that, for the most part, Marist made her work very hard for her points. Reminded me of the American Game where the opponents best player was the difference.

Siena now 0-7 in Jim Jabir's glorious return to Loudonville. Only two MAAC teams with a winning record so far, and those two are each 4-3. Yeeeeeeshhh.

How does that happen? I know you meant to write 32 at the start of the 4th. Didn’t watch it, just flipped over after the Q game and when I saw the score in the third quarter I decided it was time to do the dishes. Just saw the last minute and by then they had tied it up.

Monmouth gets 9 days now to study for Marist; Quinnipiac is going to do awful things to Siena on Saturday to make itself feel better.
Rider what the what was that

Iona up 3 with the ball and 33 seconds left, can they hang on? (I'm gonna guess no)

I'll be damned, Iona held on. If we're going to suck, I hope to hell Quinnipiac continues to suck too. Let Fairfield win the league in Frager's farewell.
