The Northeastern game is cancelled because a referee from the Albany game tested positive. Sigh.

My guess is Quinny games would also be cancelled - can't see it being safe for kids to come back and practice one day before games

Watching Albany women's team play today - I can't help but wonder if they all just stayed away from same ref that caused us to "pause"
Who makes these decisions? and in what order? College? NCAA? Conference? County? State? - I would just like a better explanation why two teams who played each other seem to be operation under different rules.

Same here nomar... also, I don’t know all details about the test, BUT aren’t they getting tested multiple times before the games? Fairfield would’ve been understandable but northeastern? In some areas now the assessment is 7 days. Doesn’t make sense. I’m pretty Politically Correct but this is what it is and for PR. Also, the benches and seats... they are with each other all the time. Not wearing masks on the court... don’t have them spaced out 6 feet on the bench THEY ARE ALL OVER EACH OTHER ON THE COURT

I am all about the caution and the security and the erring on the side of not spreading the plague but I certainly can't explain this.

If every test negative than they should lift the pause. This is crazy!!!!! The CDC changed the waiting time from 2 weeks to 7 days.

If the MAAC can't get in games during winter break I don't see how they have fewer pauses when students come back.
Can't wait to see Ensor come up with new seeding tiebreakers on the fly when teams haven't played a full slate of games
