What is our seeding looking like ? I was looking the other day and everyone is so close
We will finish ahead of Canisius unless they sweep Siena and we get swept by Quinny. Then it would go to a tie breaker which I think we would lose by virtue of us splitting with them, but they will have swept Siena and St. Peters while we split with each of them.
If Quinny sweeps us, they will end up ahead of us with 8 wins each but they win the head to head. Quinny also has 2 games with St. Peters next week, so they will likely get in the 4-5 game too.
If Manhattan wins its last 3 games, they will have 8 wins, but we have the tie breaker over them.
Fairfiled could sweep Manhattan next week and get to 8 wins, so we could end up in a 3 way tie for 4th with 8 wins, which I believe would leave us in 6th because we will have been swept by Quinny while FF split with us and Quinny. If we ended up in a 2 way tie with FF for 5th (if Quinny gets over 8 wins), we would probably win the tiebreaker there by virtue of our win over Sienna.
Rider can not catch us with only 4 wins with 3 to play.
I don't really see a way for us to end up in the PIG if we win at least 1 against Quinny. The only way I see us in the PIG is if we get swept by Quinny, Quinny gets swept by St. Peters and Fairfield sweeps Manhattan OR Canisius sweeps Siena and Quinny sweeps us. There may be other ways, since I have not had this post audited by Ernst & Young, but this is the way I see it.
