As Jon Rothstein likes to remind us, this is March.

Quinny has been absolutely atrocious in defense. Jones, cubbage shoukd have really nice games. Marfo put up rebounding numbers, but simply not a good defender. Quinny did win last game on road, so could be on verge of turnaround. I think Marist wins this game though.

Coming into this game, Cavanaugh had a team high 4.3 TOs adjusted per 40 minutes. 2 TOs today in a few minutes.
I don't want to blame him, he's a SG who was probably the #4 ballhandler coming into the year behind Cubbage, Turner, Hines but if Byrd provides even 5-10 minutes of turnover free ball — that's huge. Especially in these MAAC games that come down to a possession or two.
Off-season bulking/improving on defense he could be a 3 and D type player. Maybe spell Herasme for 5-10 minutes next year.

Jack can't dribble without staring at the basketball, fellas, admit the staff badly misjudged his ability.

Hey. Here's an idea. Instead of having to retool the game plan at halftime every game. How about having the right one to start with? No?
Oh, and how about just starting Bell. He is the only guy on the team that can get into space cleanly and score. St. Furcy will be fine down the road, but he should be coming off the bench, for now.

Marist 5th game in 9 days. I actually am fine think that's a big deal for college kids. But some experts and other fans do. Marist only down 9 with cubbage playing not well.
