So we are not going to change the FB coach because the school is going out of business? Correct.

Currently there are a number of marco and micro issues of concern to the college. As previously noted in other posts these marco items include but are not limited to the "enrollment cliff"; regional economics; NCAA student athlete pay; FB specific - concussion risks and legal liabilities; etc. At the micro level to Marist, items include current/future commitments such as Manhattan; Med School; Duchess Farm; male enrollment; etc.
All of the items will impact the strategic planning and current operational direction of the College. The college is in good shape to weather how these issues impact enrollment, finances and operations. BUT it has caused the Administration to be apprehensive. Under this scenario, IMHO the translation to the FB program is slow and steady i.e. status quo; no wholesale change in FB staff.
If the marco and micro issues begin to hurt the college financially than IMHO the FB program will be on the chopping block.
In both scenarios the FB staff does not change.
One last scenario, the FB staff retires on their own accord. This is probably the most likely scenario and maybe a couple years off.

What a great deal for players - especially Fr - to go from non-scholarship to full free ride is massive... if I read below correct.
The University is offering full tuition scholarships to every football student-athlete who chooses to stay at Jacksonville University until graduation.

I'm sure every other PFL coaching staff is picking over the bones - Stetson would seem to be in prime position to benefit. A number of those guys would look good with a Fox on their helmets next fall.

The MAAC just got Esports if I recall. I think their tournament is at the same time as the basketball tourney in AC SUNY Canton has gone all-in on Esports. They built an 1800 sq ft. competitive gaming facility on campus and sponsor both intramural and intercollegiate teams. They stream their matches and compete in the ECAC. The commitment complements their game Game Design and Development B.S. and has to be a huge advantage for admission selling their academic programs. This hype video showcase the club and the team. If you look carefully you will see a glimpse of the Marist team around the 23 second mark, A MAAC Logo behind a college official as he speaks and a reference to Canton defeating Canisius.
