How Ali Jacques kept her job is beyond me Siena = MBB. That is all. If Brian Giorgis hadn't of done what he did for MAAC WBB at Marist, Gina Castelli would still be coaching Siena.

MAAC women’s teams aren’t just losing they are getting taken to woodshed and not by BCS schools

MAAC women’s teams aren’t just losing they are getting taken to woodshed and not by BCS schools Iona at least might pull out a road win. Rachu and Mwai are bombing away from 3 and are basically Iona's whole offense with a little help from Camillion.

Elon 61, Western Carolina 21. 6:30 left in the 4th. The most amazing aspect of this game is that the score at the end of the first period was 18-14 Elon.

Rider, up 55 - 40 after 3 quarters, makes their foul shots and hangs on to win AT Penn State, 78 - 70. Not an overall big game for Stella Johnson (5-17 from the field, 1-8 from 3pt.) but 8-8 from the line in the last 43 seconds gives her 25 points.
Don't know how good Penn State is supposed to be, 12 - 18 last year, new coach, but still, a win on the road against a Big 10 team has to be the best MAAC win of the young season.

The MAAC needs every win it can get and against ANY Big10 team is good

Former Marist recruiting target Tess Sussman with 17 points as her Harvard Team dismantled Siena earlier today.

BU pummeled Mo Mags and New Hampshire in Durham. Siena's 17-point loss at Harvard was kinda much worse, they only scored 11 in the first half before rallying against what must have been Harvard's 2nd and 3rd unit. Canisius got dusted by Buffalo. I keep waiting for the rest of the non-Rider/Q teams in the MAAC to do something, anything, positive.

I was at the Quinny Yale game. My takeaways are that Herd can still shot but does not get as open shots as she did last year. Edwards just dribbles around and doesn't shoot much. They don't really have a go to on offense but still move the ball well. I will say Yale has a 6-4 girl who was like #30 recruit last year and gave quinny problems down and that's something we unfortunately cant replicate.
