Rider's announcer said after the game that Rider has locked up the 2nd seed so far. then he jumped the gun a little, but Marist and Rider have both clinched no worse than 3rd. If we beat Fairfield tomorrow we clinch at least 2nd.

fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-indefatigable-stella-johnson-is-wnba-ready/Nice article about Stella. It kinda makes us seem like the villain, like were what stands in her way of an NCAA tournament appearance. I did look at a WNBA mock draft and they have her going in the third round. I do hope scouts look at what Bekah has done to at least give her a shot in the WNBA. I think she could be a nice 3 point specialist off the bench, and you know she's not going to turn the ball over (And a nice player to have ice the game with FTs). I do think having Gilmer (who I also hope scouts are looking at) and Hand hurt each other (probably Grace some too) in getting the WNBA attention since they each don't have to do everything, were Stella has to do everything and does it pretty well

"Game of interest"? To me, anyway - Notre Dame loses to Pitt (5 - 25) in the first round of the ACC tournament to finish their season 13 - 18. Never thought I'd see them down that far.

And if it wasn't for the automatic bid they would be selected as an at-large team ahead of either Marist or Rider to the NCAA tournament.

Iona led St. P 39 - 24 after 3 quarters, St. P scores 31 in the 4th quarter to win by 5. I think Iona still gets the 6 if we beat Siena tonight.
Fairfield easy over Niagara to clinch the 3 seed. Lopez-Senechal my early pick for preseason player-of-the-year next season. She really looks like a basketball player.
Canisius giving Quinny a fight, but Q going to prevail. 15 pts, 19 boards for Warfel

Rider up 11 - 6 at end of first quarter at Monmouth. Monmouth games really hard to watch.

Central Michigan gets stunned in the MAC quarterfinals by 13-17 Toledo. Outscored 20-5 in the third. Can't overlook anyone in March!
