OOC get off to an intriguing start with CAA #2 heading to Hamden to take on Fabbri’s renovated starting line-up while at the same time Rider’s Hat Trick of Johnson’s take on brilliant Bella and the Tigers who are favored to make sweet music together on their way to a another Ivy League Championship.
Who’d a thunk that your lone MAAC winner on opening night is going to be St. Peter’s vs the newly consolidated LIU program.
Albany gets a win over Columbia, the others not so much.

There are reasons Siena was picked for 10th. Many on display in the first half today. Down by 18 at the half at the TUC to Binghamton 47-29. Saints helping the Bearcats cause with 10 turnovers. Bingo’s Senior Guard Kia Moon basically mooning the Saints with 18 points in the first half. Siena has a promising Freshman forward Julia Hauer. Not too tall but a space eater with some nifty moves in the paint. A player they can definitely build around.

Rider being beaten like a rented Bronc at Princeton by 30 late in the 4th. I'll be charitable and assume that says more about Princeton than Rider.

Rider being beaten like a rented Bronc at Princeton by 30 late in the 4th. I'll be charitable and assume that says more about Princeton than Rider. To their credit Rider kept it respectable into the 3rd quarter when the Tigers began cashing in on some of Rider’s 20 turnovers. Littlefield and Alarie are a very difficult matchup for any mid-major defense to deal with. Rider may have brought back their core plus Stella, but they lost their long standing point guard Lexi Posset and I thought it showed as they struggled with ball security and scoring. The “Q” gave Drexel a real tussle. It looks like they are going to be right there with Marist and Rider despite the heavy losses to graduation. I only caught the last couple of minutes of a very close game. I though one of the announcers said the Cats turned the ball over 19 times. Once again, an outstanding point guard is not an easy commodity to replace. I believe Shaq Edwards scored 14 points in her “ QuinnipiMAAC” debut.

Not that we play either team but Fordham played #16 ND really close. ND couldn't make FTs down the stretch which let Fordham almost come back

Providence at Yale was called off at halftime when the scoreboard lost power and couldn't be fixed. They'll complete the game at some point because it's a relatively short drive. I've never seen that one before.
