Disregard the info on Jackie Piddock.. She is not from Philadelphia. She lives in central NYS and attends a public school. Her AAU team is based in NYS, not Philly. The info regarding Croker is good. The rating is excellent and in the ballpark with some of Marist’s more highly rated recruits followed by Blue Star..

So Recruiting 2022 - should include possible transfers - so post away. No do NOT post the 6'4" kid from Texas in portal out of Uconn - try to find some tie to Marist possibly .... example
Klarke Sconiers (6-2 JR center, Queens, NY) has announced that she's entering her name into the portal, out of Minnesota WBB - here is a girl from Queens NY, away from home, not getting minutes (no idea how good she is or might be in Marist system)

I saw a few of her highlights and it really looks like she can get to the hoop - very athletic. I'm hoping she can bring some consistent 3 point shooting as well.

Red Hook’s Freeman Morgan Tompkins Player of the Year ready for the next step – Daily Freeman April 16, 2022 by admin Armed with a faster shot and a desire to get fit, senior Morgan Tompkins has led Red Hawks High to a magical basketball season and is now preparing for the next level, which is just 30 minutes away from home.
Tompkins Freeman Player of the Year, in preparations to play Division I basketball at nearby Marist College in Poughkeepsie.
Red Hook member Morgan Tompkins runs past Marlboro Briana Bernicker on February 4, 2020, file photo.
The Red Hook won its first Division 9, Class B title in 10 years behind Tompkins, who finished over 1,500 career points. She averaged 20 points, nine rebounds, four steals, four assists and two blocks per game for the Conquerors (13-5).
“She does everything, from guarding the other team’s position to managing the point and everything in between,” Red Hook coach Andrew McKibish said. “Morgan has all the skills needed to excel at the DI level.”
“We had a really strong start,” said Tompkins, citing a lineup that includes Mackenzie Simmons, Emily Kent, Katie Boyd and Liv Christenson. “I was really excited to get into this season. I knew I really wanted to win the clips. That was my only goal before I graduated. We’ve been there a few times, but we couldn’t do it. I was excited for everyone else and seeing what we could do.”
“It was a dream come true to win the divisions with all my close friends by my side. It was the best thing I could ask for,” she added.
Tompkins was on track to become the region’s all-time leading scorer, but the pandemic has limited Red Hawks to just six games in the 2020-21 season. She finished with 1515 points.
“I was about 150. If COVID didn’t happen, I wish I could get past it,” she said. “If it did, it did, but it didn’t and I’m still happy with how it all went.”
The short junior season worked for Tompkins. She worked with former Pine Plains star Tyler Lydon, who played two seasons (2017-19) with the Denver Nuggets of the NBA.
“I was playing every day. I was training with Tyler. If anything, I got better than I would have with a whole season,” she said.
“I was working on my shot a lot with Tyler. One of the things that the coaches (Marist) wanted me to work on was my shot faster, which I definitely improved on. I think my drive to hoop and finish contact has definitely improved over the past year.
“I definitely worked on a lot of different things. I was constantly looking to get my wide open ball passes (and) hopefully to get them (my teammates) to score, especially in the strong games.”
She played with Boyd and Kent on the New York Havoc AAU Show for three years at Under Armor Next.
“I work on finishing with my left hand a lot. I work on getting stronger, stamina, almost everything to get to the next level completely,” “The day after the basketball season ended, I was getting better in the gym. I never feel satisfied. “.
Tompkins will play Marist coaching legend Brian Georges in her first season. Giorgis announced in February that he would retire after the 2022-23 campaign. Former Marist player and current assistant coach Erin Dottie has already been selected as the new head coach. “I absolutely love Giorgis and have been playing with him in my presence since I was in the third grade when I went to Marist Basketball Camps and he was always called a Red Hawk kid,” Tompkins said.
“Being able to play with Giorgis for a year is better than anything I would have asked. I knew it was coming. I didn’t think it was going to be this year. Being able to get his knowledge up for at least a year and then come Erin Dottie,” “I loved the idea. I love Erin. I’ve known her for a while. She was like my main recruiting coach, so I had phone calls with her for an hour and just talked about everything. She always keeps me updated and I’m so excited about what I and everyone on the team can do, including In it she is.”
Tuesday, April 20, marks two years since Marist offered the then-second student the chance to play Division I basketball.
“It was like a dream come true,” Tompkins said. “I remember crying and telling my mom, ‘It worked. I did it.'”
Tompkins was set low at times for the Red Hook, and at 5-foot-11, he could play the role of guard or petite striker for the Invaders.
“I don’t get very close to playing in college,” she admitted. “The coaches have told me that the best thing about my recruitment is that I am multi-talented. I can play 1 (keeper), 2 (shot keeper) or 3 (small striker) and even 4 (small striker) if they need to, which I think will also help me get game time “.
Tompkins thanked her friends and family for all their support, especially her grandmother, who passed away in 2020.
“My biggest inspiration and the person I thank the most is my grandmother. She was my biggest role model and best friend. She meant everything to me. I always say I do everything for her and always will be.”

That article seemed to have been run through Google Translate into 6 different languages and then a couple minutes in a food processor for good measure.
