You can basically predict the schedule game by game every year. USD loss, UD loss, DC win, etc.
Add the two new ivies as losses and it really is the same old same old.

You talk to the players, they love him. He runs a clean program. Rarely a negative word and that's managing over 100 kids per year for 25 years. That said, the results have become pretty predictable. I always said, its a budget thing. The good players will take the better deal. I get the economics. Hard to see how this program gets better without more money.

Coach P is a great guy and he runs a good program. But as a coach his record is mediocre at best. Does more money get you a better coaching staff? More full-time staff?
Put a guy like Dave Cecchini (Valpo, now Bucknell) or Rob Sgarlata (G'town) or that type and I think Marist would have a better record. Frankly a better program.

If the above is how things end up (4th), they'll be 5-3 in league play. Add the 0-3 or maybe 1-2 in OOC play will give us a season record of 5-6 or 6-5. Same old same old.
Let's see how they do the 1st week against G'town. Good team, solid coaching, with a very solid D and improving O. The years the Foxes have had a winning season and are in contention for the PFL crown are years that they have beaten G'town. If by chance they lay a whipping on the Hoyas, it could be a very good year. Hope so.

Either they're recruiting a lot better or the PL has really fallen that far. I'm told the answer is yes to both.

Just happened
Giants signed DE Terrence Fede, per agent @davidcanter. Played four seasons in Miami. #Giants

Fede got hurt in one of the last two preseason games last August while with the Bills and was subsequently waived, otherwise I think he might have made their 53. When he healed up I know he had a tryout late last year with the 49ers but it was already Week 15 or 16 by that point.
Would be neat if Fede makes the G-Men. Lord knows we need all the help we can get.
On a thoroughly unrelated note, I wonder who the most popular franchises are in our community. I know myself and Oldfox are Giants fans, Yankee = Jets, Nomar = Pats and TG28 = Browns but that's all I got.
