Will the building be getting a new facade? He previously mentioned that this renovation will bring the center in line with library, Hancock etc.

So imagine if we just raise the roof - how much better would it look I think you would need to add some seats or luxury boxes to pay for that upgrade, JMHO.

Damn that's nice....Great job by SHU. Did Marist ever make renderings of the McCann Center upgrades public? Supposedly starting soon.

IMHO, any repurposing of the McCann Center won't fully meet the real needs of the athletic programs. As an alternative . . .
Marist should provide financing in a P3 arrangement (Public/Private Partnership) with CofP; DC and NYS for the modernization of the Mid-Hudson CC. Modernize the MHCC to accommodate a 5K seat BB/concert/show arena. Have a set number of boards seats (management oversight), negotiate favorable MBB/WBB game rental rates; negotiate a share of concessions revenue on all events; and a set number of annual internships for Marist students who will be marketing the use of the site.

I think that would alienate the students IMO

I agree with Nomar, you gotta keep it on campus...I just returned from my daughter’s admitted student days at Colby College in Maine. They’re under construction building a 200 million dollar, 300,000 square foot athletic complex. Two year project. I can’t wrap my head around it’s size...
