Unfortunately in this day and age you cannot really trust what when people say they will stay. Maybe she does love Fairfield and will stay but of course they need to say that they are staying.
I think Anderson will stay as well. I'll be intrigued to see if Brown uses her COVID year there or a bigger school

I'll be intrigued to see if Brown uses her COVID year there or a bigger school According to the FF Board Gallagher (out of eligibility), Daleba (graduating and moving on) and Peek (transfer portal) are the only ones definitely not coming back. I assume they go hard after post players. Daleba not staying hurts an already thin post presence. FF and Siena project as clear way-to-early favorites next season.

Niagara gives Vermont a real battle but falls by 6, and that's a wrap on 2023-24 MAAC women's basketball. Certainly a season that none of us will remember fondly. Maybe one day when the Marist program is restored to glory we will look back and laugh, and marvel at how far they came. Maybe.

Actually it’s been 3 seasons in a row to forget. But who’s counting?

Was rooting for Vermont - Marist Alum Kresge takes precedent over MAAC. She is padding an impressive early resume in her career

Siena press release says they're doing a national search, if they were going to promote Terry Primm I imagine they would have just done that.

Siena’s Elisa Mevius to Oregon. An NIL free transfer for the Ducks I believe.

Maybe if the Assistant has only been at school for 2 years. But when the Assistant has been there 22 years and was under the greatest coach in the history of the school - THEY do get first shot no search, they earned it.
We bitch about kids commitment and how they jump from place to place yet you aren't willing to reward someone who is loyal and who paid their dues.

Again, where did I say coach would not have been best candidate? Hearing other voices about the program could have been helpful. We get it, you are coaches biggest supporter. Good for you. All I am saying is a national search is never a bad thing. Just my opinion.
